But the product itself is not working for us at all. The mechanism, which is an autoretracting, magnetic system, is not smooth. The magnet is very strong , so open the door you have to give it a strong tug--butnthen you have to quickly let go and let the door open itself once you've started it on its opening path. Awkward process. And visitors to our house never know how to do it, so we have to explain it to everyone--a hassle. Worse than that, the door occasionally comes off the track. It requires a bit of muscle to click it back into the track. Again, a hassle. Worst of all, when we started encountering issues with the doors, we called our local Phancy Screens place. Many times. Many many many times. Left voice messages each time. The total number of responses we receiced? Zero. This product is odd and doesn't work as well as traditional screen doors. And the total lack of post-purchase customer service is inexcusable and inexplicable and is a total deal breaker. I would stay far away from these doors unless you enjoy doors that malfunction and a company that is of zero assistance in supporting their products.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have had only good interactions with those at Phancy Screens as I move to get retractable screens for French Doors. From initial contact to someone dispatched to measure, the experience has been great. I look forward to having the screens from Phancy installed. They are discreet and elegant and working very well on our French door.
