Screens vs Screens
Traditional screen doors require some maintenance, and need to be replaced often. The alternative to this is a high quality Stoett retractable screen that will add beauty to your home as well as convenience. With this kind of screen, you can choose when you want to have the screen open, or closed. This creates a better way to show off your beautiful front door. You do not have to worry about taking these off during the winter as they are not a fixed screen door. During Spring and Fall this is the perfect solution for airing out your home or just for letting the nice cool air in saving money on your electric bill.
Q. What are the advantages of retractable screens?
A. Three things come readily to mind; convenience, versatility and astedics
A StowAway Retractable Screen Door is a home improvement product that is attached to the exterior frame or the interior frame of a doorway or window. The screening material itself is attached to a roller tube which spins on a vertical axis within the assembly’s housing. The screen is attached to a vertical pull bar which rides on two rails (top/bottom) and is used to stretch the screen material across the opening. Once deployed, the pull bar is fixed in place by one or more magnets installed on the side opposite the housing. When not in use, the screen rolls safely and slowly into its housing. Our StowAway Retractable Screens can be installed on any in-swing or out-swing doors such as: Arched Doors, Dutch Doors, French Doors, Single Doors, Single Sliding Doors, French Sliding Doors as well as Pull Down Windows and Side-to-Side Windows. StowAway Screens can span up to 84″ wide and 108″ tall on a single unit or up to 168″ wide and 108″ tall on a double unit. StowAway Invisible Screen Doors will give you that crystal clear view screen door that you desire.
